About Val Davis
"Texas New Age Folk-N-Roll" was used to describe Val Davis' music by the Public News in Houston. Having played for over 20 years from Texas to Maine, Val has developed is own sound though comparisons to Stephen Still or Peter Gabriel often pop up. Val sings, plays guitar, bass and keys and produces his own music. After completing his first album in 2003, Val was featured on National Public Radio's "All Songs Considered", XPN in Philadelphia and has been a regular on Internet radio stations like "Radio Paradise" and "Song Planet". He has become a staple for many Podcasters. He is currently working on his second album in his home studio and plans to deliver the goods by the end of 2006.
