Indie powerhouse Jennifer Vazquez has built a reputation throughout the Los Angeles music scene as one of the hardest working and most prolific singer/songwriters working today. Influenced by artists like Joni Mitchell, Billy Joel, Tracy Chapman, Natalie Merchant and U2, her music is a heart -to-heart lyric blend of poetry and emotional wisdom delivered via her powerful dynamic vocal range. She has the kind of voice that is crystal clear with a purity that is rarely heard.

Jennifer recently released her second studio album, Bend, which was nominated for Independent Triple A Album of The Year by the Los Angeles Music Awards. She has been a constant in the music scene over the past years with her five ASCAPLU$ awards, recognizing her as an active and promising young songwriter, in her being named as one of Music Connection Magazine Hot 100 Unsigned Artists three years in a row, as well as in her receiving a nod from the prestigious Billboard Songwriting Contest for the past two years for thesongs " Bend", "Nothing Without You", "I'm No Saint" and "He's Like Strawberry Milk".

Born and raised in the Bronx, New York, Jennifer sang in the band, Blush, while attending Stonybrook University. Inspired by her first trip to California, she taught herself to play guitar and went solo, honing her craft in New York City clubs like The Bitter End, The Baggot Inn and Arlene's Grocery. She had some label interest in her first studio album, "Another Day In The Dark", but chose to return to the roots of her musical inspiration in California instead; determined in her dream to make music her life.

Two acoustic CDs ("Just Me And My Taylor" and "Silenced") and three music videos later, (Running Out Of Time, I'm No Saint, and her latest one, Nothing Without You, released in January 2006), Jennifer keeps a smart and steady pace as an Indie Artist. She continues to make her way to other cities, like Nashville, allowing people to share in what songs she has already created as well as in the music she continues to create, capturing their hearts forever.
