Paul Tunnicliffe's Details
These are just a sample of the songs I've written over the last twenty years or so.
I've returned to music following a lengthy gap after band I was in during the eighties and early nineties crashed and burned in spectacular fashion after being signed to WEA and Island Music Publishing.
That whole experience left a nasty taste in my mouth as far as the industry is concerned but it was a very effective, if costly education.
Despite all that, I never lost my love of music. As a listener or as a writer and performer. There simply is nothing in life that makes me realise I'm alive as vividly as music does.
My latest project is called "Squaredog" and is a loose line up featuring my songs played by me and a couple of close friends.
I'm not looking for a recording contract and I have no illusions or desires concerning celebrity or the usual media definitions of success.
Any good advice or help regarding publishing or licencing would be very welcome though.
I hope you enjoy my songs.
I also have a site on MySpace.com; www.myspace.com/squaredog1 where you can find more info, pics and another track not featured here.
