Serpent Girl

I am a music FREAK. Like, a total nerd. It's the best. I am 15, currently living in Lafayette, Louisiana, and hating it like a bitch. I go to a private catholic school out in the middle of nowhere (really, the middle of NOWHERE), and I hate that too. I guess the only things I love are music (duh) and my friends. I guess it all started in 6th grade (around 9/11) when my friend Matt burned a Disturbed CD for me. And that got me started on metal and whatnot. Then in started to get into stuff like System of a Down, Godsmack, etc. And then I discovered Pantera. Oh yes, PANTERA. And that eventually led to liking bands like Celtic Frost, Emperor, Bathory, Slayer, etc. Then around my freshmen year, I got into more hardcore, like Biohazard and Terror. Now, it's my sophmore year, and I'm into a lot of industrial and electronic shit. Still metal and hardcore and all that, but industrial more than anything. What I'm in the mood for varies by day. Like yesterday (Jan. 9th) I was listening to a lot of Demon Hunter, and today it's Dope Stars Inc. I'm sure tomorrow I'll break out with the Skinny Puppy or Death in June,, maybe some Christian Death, who knows?? I like so much music..wow. People at this school try to put you in a category dependent on what music you listen to. Well, it's kinda impossible in my case, since I listen to mostly everything, except rap and country. And usually, I like darker music. But there will always be times when I get in a weird mood and break out with the Vanessa Carlton...But if I had to break it down genre by genre to tell you what I like, I'd tell you: most types of rock and metal, industrial, trance/techno/house/electro/ebm, goth, (You know, like Dead Can Dance and Voltaire and Unto Ashes? Yeah, stuff like that.) (some) indie, classical, hardcore...the list goes on and on and on and on and on... I'll bet my now, if you're reading this, you're most likely wondering, "Wow this girl has so much time on her hands, look @ all the shit she typed!" And my explanation is simple: Science class is boring, and laptops make it fun. :)
