About Sound Domain Studio

MEET THE PRODUCER

Born Kamall Xavier Archibald on February 9th 1982 in Kingstown St. Vincent, this hot new producer grew up in a small village called Mesopotamia with his Mom, Dad and two brothers, me being the second. As a child I grew up loving to listen to music on the radio and my enthusiasm grew.

At the age of eight (8), the best he can remember is when his father bought him his first piece of instrument. It was a keyboard. Learning to play the keyboard seemed not to be that challenging. Seemingly somewhat musically inclined, after having been around other musician, asking questions and looking at what they do and from he was told. Kamall grew swiftly into the budding musician/producer that he is.

It was not until his teenager years did he begin attending began attending music lessons but never seem to finish because of financial reasons. Nevertheless in 1996, Kamall got a few friends together and formed a Gospel Band Silkk that played Gospel, ballads and in our spare time other genres of music like R&B, Reggae, etc.

The band activity went on for a while until members started to migrate for college, to live abroad and other different reasons so the band eventually broke up.

In January 2002 life took a totally different turn. He got married, had a son - Dorian, that same year. Kamall then settled in a smaller village not too far from where he originated, called Calder, and opened a home base studio called Sound Domain Studio.

His contribution now to the music industry in St. Vincent has extremely grown and is on demand for. I am now working alongside and with some of St. Vincents most talented and popular artiste. MaddZart, Shaunelle McKenzie, Squitty, Icon, Sgt. Bread just to name a few.

2005 also made Kamall an active member of one of St. Vincent and the Grenadines most popular Soca Band HS PHAKTOR, Working alongside OECS 2004 Soca Monarch Champion Bomani and more.

This is surely a space to watch as we look forward to much more from the fresh new musician/producer.
