About Taliesin Records
Taliesin was the Chief Bard of Britain during the 6th century. He was a poet, the poet of Britain, the Poet of Camelot. Furthermore, within historical mythology, Taliesin was a teacher of Merlin.
Since Taliesin was a poet and a seeker of knowledge within life and the ever after, we thought this would be a good name for us.

OK, so why else did we decide to name our record company Taliesin Records? Well, we believe that all of music, whether it be seriously heavy death metal, to much lighter music like acoustical is all poetry. No matter any way you look at it, poetry is not only in the spoken verse or lyrical melodies, but it is a sound that can attract and insight the feelings within a person. It could make you happy, it could make you sad, it can make you become full of rage. No matter what, it helps to create a sense of being that increases ones senses.
Ya, well at least we believe it.
Therefore, we acknowledge all music in all forms as poetry and we are Taliesin Records.
