Canadian Country Christmas Tour

On The Road...

Hey Everybody!

"I'm in Prince George today as part of the Sean Hogan Christmas Country Tour! It's been a blast on the road and spending time with everybody from Jamie Warren, Gil Grand, Colin Amey & Sean Hogan, and especially all the dudes on the tour who are also sharing the stage with us! Vaughan Poyser, Jason Barry, Jesse Peters, Ron, & Scooter! I gotta tell ya, spending this much time with 9 guys can kind of change you..... it's like having 9 big brothers all looking out for you at the same time, and doing all the other things that big brothers get to do too! LOL ~ teasing me.. influencing me LOL!"

"So far we've played shows in Calgary, Olds, Athabasca, Ft.McMurray, Whitecourt, Hythe & Dawson Creek. All the shows have been bigger and better and we've met the nicest fans and sponsors. I've really really enjoyed getting up and playing music every night for a new crowd and seeing the expressions on their faces each time we play our tunes."

"The roads haven't been too bad along the journey and we have lots of DVD's including Eric Clapton's Guitar Festival to watch on the way!!! Quite enjoyable! We are always joking and laughing and it's really cool to get to know everyone, which you do very well when you spend hours together in a van!"

"Hahaha, speaking of vans... we have two vans, right. Well Jamie and I were watching the Phil Collins ~ Finally, The First Farewell Tour DVD, on the way and we were watching the HUGE crowds that he got during that tour.. and I said.. wow that would so awesome to play... and there's at least a hundred or so people on tour with Phil at that time.... Jamie Warren says to me.. "They must've taken four vans". LOL

"Aaah.. ya had to be there. :-) We've stopped at just about every Tim Horton's and Starbucks along the way.. we've met some great people, some very interesting people, and definitely had some memories! One of the things I won't forget about the tour is the second part of the show, when all of us sit up on stage together and like they do in a songwriters circle, we play music together.. one song at a time, and do harmonies for each other etc. That's a blast, you get the true soul of music during that part of the show!"

"Well, I better get ready to go to soundcheck for our show here in Prince George tonight.. and yes.. I promise if I see any of the actors from the show... I'll get their autographs for you." :-)
