'Seize The Day' is the new title release from Chakra Bleu's third powerhouse CD on their own 1080 Records. The song 'Seize The Day' alone could shake a person out of their 'hum-drums', infusing the listener with a good dose of motivation.
Chakra Bleu has carved their own niched in Pop-Rock keeping their audiences in the zone by insightful and empowering lyrics about love and life, backed by upbeat, innovative melodies and rhythms. Their coined 'Empower-Rock' style stands on its own, carrying a positive vibe to it and people can FEEL IT!
The music of Chakra Bleu has lead them to be the showcase/spotlight band time and time again at Nashville's top listening venues, as well as being the Headliner act for BMI shows. they were also granted the 'Arena Award' Feb.1999 by the Music World University; Louisville, KY. - this prestigious honor has been granted to few other acts such as Reba McEntire, Dolly Parton, Jo Dee Messina and more, who all have contributed an inspiring presence in their community.
Their first CD, titled, 'Hidden Mirror', received stron airplay on AAA and Americana stations across the United States, as well as radio stations in several countries in Europe. The title release, 'How Long' from their 2003 CD also received airplay on AAA, college, and NPR format radio in the U.S. How Long was produced by Susanna along with David Henry, who has worked with REM, Cowboy Junkies, and Josh Rouse to name a few. Their newest release, 'Seize The Day' was produced by Susanna, Steve Alexander, and Chip Woody, who has worked alongside producer Peter Collins (Indigo Girls, Elton John, Johnny Highland,etc.)
