“Mo Jondles united in the beginning 2003 and were playing and developing their live show for only a year before beginning the recording process of “Whats Inside”. Having played Hollywood and a lot of LA clubs the band felt it was time to lay this down on some recordings. These songs and stories came together like puzzle pieces and there was no stopping the creative flow of this cd. The whole album was recorded in a cozy studio called “The Tackle Box” which included everything from carpeted walls to an old washer tucked away in the corner, which coincidentally was used in the song “Emmy”. It couldn’t have been more perfect. It is why this cd is a roller coaster of different sounds and styles and while the genre of the cd changes throughout.... it holds true to the Jondle spirit. There are elements in this album of Rock, Pop, Punk, Funk, Country and a little Scotch that you can hear in it, while still retaining absolute Jondlelistic style. The music has been compared to some amazing bands like Talking Heads, The Cars, Oingo Boingo, yet are definitely the one and only Mo Jondles.
Of course the songs are only the first step in making a great album. With the help of some incredible Production from Ben Eshbach of the Sugarplastic and Final Mastering from the almighty Jamie Seyberth this cd entertains from beginning to end.
We are more excited than ever and we believe it will show in CD’s to come.”
