                   Jose’ Diaz

   Victoria, Texas musician Jose’ Diaz has been doing his fret-board gymnastics since the age of 13. His brand of high-volume-guitar-fueled-hard-rock has dominated his music from the beginning. From a humble high school gym in the early eighties, to the bright lights of the Riverside Convention Center, the few times that he has stalked the stage have been memorable to those who witnessed him live and unrestrained. His tornado-like finger-ballets cover the entire guitar neck and then some. For Mr. Diaz it seems the end of the fret-board is no barrier. His playing is the true essence of being “loud and proud”.

   "CAUTION, DREAMS IN PROGRESS" was released on January 3rd, 2008. Not being one to slack off, Jose' is still recording new material and looks forward to releasing more albums in the future. 

    With six releases under his belt, each filled with blazing guitar work and thought provoking lyrics, he forges ahead with new material and increasing endeavors. His collaborators are many as well as the lists of websites where his music can be found. His works have appeared on several releases of the Compilation Series put out by A.O.G.MEDIA, and his guitar slinging has graced works by such artist as Terry Daun, and Jesse DeLaO, (the head of A.O.G.MEDIA). Some of the songs for A.O.G are even contractual “exclusives” found only on the media companies' releases. There is an unreleased work done with New York head bangers LOVEBONE and some online collaborations on Indabamusic.com.  In addition to his collaborative works, Jose’ has appeared onstage recently with Jesse DeLaO as a guest guitarist for a CD release party for COMPILATION #7 from A.O.G. This was his first return to the stage in almost twenty-five years. On other fronts his songs have been played by radio and internet stations world wide and a current promotional push is underway in Australia.

    A.O.G. MEDIA has released its' 8th volume in the COMPILATION series and Jesse D. is har at work promoting the included artists. Catch a show and you will hear him spin tunes from artists from around the world!

     The band he formed in high school left its mark on Jose’ and is reflected in how easily he creates music both with and without others involved. His studio is a minefield of lyric sheets and guitars, headphones and microphones. The band LEGASYS may no longer exist but Jose’ does. The music is still being born and that’s what drives him, the music.

    Keep your ears peeled back for the next powerful offering from this secret of the gulf coast. The guitars will be loud and the songs will be proud!

Prices go up, hurricanes blow by, jerks run for office, and time eats away at everything. Through all of this, the things we cannot control loom overhead. Never larger than life, but always on the verge of pushing our dreams out of the way. Life can and may well pulverize you no matter what you do to defend yourself. The brutality of existance is never forgiving. The caress of dreams held deep within is the best defense against the onslaught of life. We can be beaten down, trodden underfoot, and kicked over the edge into the abyss, but even the most microscopic spark of a dream can never be extinguished. One tiny spark can smoulder for more than a lifetime. In the perfect moment, it meets the fuel it's needed all along. The ignition can be subtle, or extreme. That burning is undeniable proof that dreams never really die. So dream if you wish, or ignore your dreams. The choice is yours. Either way there will always be a small, easily unoticed spark, there at the center of your soul, at the center of your mind, and at the center of your heart.

It's one hell of a job keeping up with all these web pages, but I am determined to leave my mark on this world. A.O.G. MEDIA has released COMPILATION #6 and #7 is about to be released! My 4th cd is out on cdbaby as well. "PAINT BY THUNDERS-2006" is one I'm proud of. I hope you like it!

Some years ago I performed Leaag Guitar for one Jesse D. in his band Bois D Arc. You cans hear our work on Http://www.unsighnedbandsradio.com (England)
I recently was graced by God to get back in touch with my friend and he invited me onto his compilation #5. As luck would have it , with the storms down here in the gulf, I have been given 2 spots on the upcoming cd. It's due for release about Oct-15-2005.
It will be comprised of tunes from bands from; England, Italy, CA, CT, MD, NY, and TX as weel as other places. I urge you to check it out not for me , but for the spectrum of the music you'll find on it.
