Hi,

in preparation for my NY trip (1-15th of May) I came across this site.

I am a German composer, songwriter, author and lecturer. My classical works have been performed around Europe, I have composed for short and feature films (a short of mine is on at the NY Film and Video Festival 06).

I am confirmed as composer for a big budget action / horror film to be shot in 2007. This is one of the biggest productions ever to come out of Germany.
 
Professional Bio: Bachelor and Master of Arts (Composition, City University London), Lecturer at Institute for Popular Music in Duisburg, Germany.

The reason I am here is not that I am in need of jobs (see www.larsdeutsch.net/projects), but that I am a huge film fan, and if you are a film fan you look towards America... also I would like to work on films with a fresh and different feel and look.

If you are looking for a unique score that does not sound like a collections of cliches and you have a short / movie that is unique, let me know.
