About Jordan Crowder
Jordan Armand Crowder was born on September 13th 1985 in Detroit, Michigan. At the tender age of 6 he moved to Montréal, Québec where he soon became interested in acting and the filmmaking process. Thus, he made his first short film entitled Cowboys in the West. He followed up that cinematic venture with stop motion animations about Dick Tracy, Moses and Dinosaurs. As he matured into the handsome young man that so many Longhorn cheerleaders are after today, he made a few more short films including the critically acclaimed Ricky which was screened at the Champlain Film Festival, as well as the dramatic, and well-received mockumentary A Dangerous Addiction. In his following year of college Crowder made Clay Brown's Last Hoorah and wrote, directed and starred in Big Ideas and Third Wheel all of which were well-received. In addition, Crowder has several other projects to his credit, including the cult internet film Horror Friends and the short documentary José Bégué, which earned him a grant from the National Film Board of Canada. At the completion of his studies at Champlain College, Crowder was presented with a prestigious Award for being the top film student in the Creative Arts Film program. His most recent project entitled Bend & Break, is his first feature film and is in the post-production phase scheduled for release in 2008. Jordan currently attends The University of Texas at Austin's film school on scholarship.
