Alexis Hadjopulos was born in Monterrey, Mexico. At age 8 he started writing songs that he and his cousins would perform to the family. Always showing his passion for music, he kept writing songs and started taking vocal training among other music studies like drums and piano. But it was until he turned 15 when he started recording his own material in his hometown. He moved then to Mexico City where he was a part of two groups, and he was invited to join a very well known and successful "boy band" in Latin America, instead he thought it was a time to learn and grow as a musician so he moved to Los Angeles, where he joined Musicians Institute, in Hollywood. Soon after he started writing and recording english pop songs, and completed his first album.His songs have been played in Mexico's most important radio stations. He has been featured in several music websites as the artist and songwriter of the month, where some of his songs, such as "Don't wanna be Startin' Something" and "Don't Take Away your Love" ranked at #1. He relased an independent album in Mexico "Taste Life" in 2003 to great reviews and sales.
