Artist Management Workshop – Learn How to Chart Your Success

(Oklahoma City) Individual Artists of Oklahoma (IAO) and M-Squared Productions present an artist workshop designed to help artists, musicians, and writers chart their success with their art. The workshop will be held at IAO Gallery, 811 N. Broadway, downtown Oklahoma City, Saturday, February 26, 2005 from 10am-1pm. The cost is $25 and includes a workbook.

The workshop will be conducted using a new innovative approach to learning called “Appreciative Inquiry” which will lead the participants into finding the core message of their art. Each step will lead the artist/musician/writer into finding what makes their art unique while learning how to present their art more resourcefully to their perspective audiences. By the end of the workshop the artist/musician will have a clearly defined path and goals for their success.

“The work book is comprised of over 20 years working within the arts community both as an artist and promoter,” Mark Maxey, of M-Squared Productions said. “We have made the workbook user friendly and have found those participating have went on to enjoy more success with their art than before. This course allows artist to define their own path while learning new skills to market themselves more productively.”
