About AC Timba Jazz Project
Straight from the heart of Cuba! Formed by late great, legendary Master Cuban Percussionist and Jazz Rumbero,
Long John Oliva. The AC Timba Jazz Project is
probably one of the most innovative Latin Jazz
groups of all time. Long John’s approach to his
group's style was a matter of the heart, his appetite
for experiment, and his influences that stemmed
from his African heritage and Caribbean origins.
The AC Timba's sound is nothing like you have
ever heard before. The group is composed of "Grammy Award Winning Latin Heavy Weights" who have performed with CHUCHO VALDES, PONCHO SANCHEZ, SANTANA, ADALBERTO ALVAREZ and many more...The music is pure, progressive, uplifing, energetic and full of life! You can either
kick back and enjoy the hip melodic sounds, or get up
and dance to the intense Afro Cuban rhythms! Agozar!
