A Cainus Anus History
Part 1 (CeeDee-Ar)
Well... Here is how it happened. we were stuffing around with a guitar doing some tunes when for no particular reason we decided to say 'hippi' multiple times while someone was playing a tune, thereby creating a 'song'. I came up with an idea to record this 'song' on my computer using a very small microphone, similar in size to a large pea. Well, we had 2 takes of hippi both resulting in something that made us less than happy with it. So on the third take (or hipi 2.5, as we in CeeDee-Ar call it.) JACKPOT!!! It really was gold, no written lyrics no work not even a good tune, the two of us had just begun our first Album "CAINUS ANUS" now, over 6 months later Grant the original band member has returned to his homeland while I continue the journey of the Cainus Anus by recording shit for Part 2.
Part 2 (Part 2)
Basically i decided i was bored so i would do the whole thing again and waste more precious years of my life. When i began this, the idea was to complete music from opposite sides of the globe and continue CeeDeeAr... but only one part of it ever got recorded (to my knowledge) and it is titled Part 2 even though it is the first recording ever officially made by the infamous 'Cainus Anus', half of the band, yet thrice the velocity of the original which started it all.
Part 3 of my history has been lost from my mind... so much so, that i am starting to believe that part 3 may not have even happened
Part 4 (Altius Maximus)
Now as you all may know the legend of Cainus Anus has spread to millions of lucky fans all over the world. ...fans which are hermits, Hippies and Stoners. Fans which have more love for Cainus Anus than they have for the air they are breathing. Fans which prefer to stay anonymous and hide in the shrubbery when any civilised person comes near. This entire album was made specifically for those people. It is a tribute to the fans.
Part 5 (Greatest Hits)
Realising that my talent as a singer/songwriter was somewhat limited (mainly in the 'singer' department) and needing more money for various reasons, i released a greatest hits, perhaps my bestseller. I tried (not very hard) to include all the old favourites, as well as some new material from aptly named 'Altius Maximus' which has musical value to create the ultimate Cainus Anus 26 track megadisk. I did all this before i even began making Meltdown music.
