About Cinntexx

Cinnamon~A girl who loves latex and all things tight and shiny. Powerful,  full of intense passion. An observer of people~Intuitive & creative INSPIRATION.  An incredible singer with an amazing personality~Very versatile and creative.

She started singing very young. Performing at a club when eleven years old~a natural to the stage...the audience loved her. Just after high school she joined a band and played the club scene for a few years, then travelled the maritimes playing original tunes with the band Joker's Wild.

In Halifax, N.s. she played the Concert on the Hill with Joker's Wild...Canada Day~a concert for bands in the semi-finals of a contest,  Five bands out of hundreds submitted were chosen to perform. All were on an album for the contest & songs were played on the radio often in promotion of the event. The days crowd count was in double digit thousands. Much Music was there to cover the event & interviewed her.

Highly influenced by Lee Aaron and Heart...Sass Jordan and Darby Mills... her sound started as hard & rockerchick. Tight pants and short glitzy tops with fast moving action on stage... she was on track to be the next rock Diva. She travelled half way across canada with a top 40 band called Guilt & enjoyed showing off her talent. But something was missing. This band was not her style and when she met up with a band in Saskatchewan looking for a singer...

She decided to make a go of it with the luggage she had brought with her and found a new place to call home. This new band was called Love Junk, she clicked VERY well with the bass player, their style and karisma together was instant. He influenced her, expanding the limited rocker chick image and style. Exposing her to Jane's Addiction, Kurt Cobain, Alice in Chains and the full punk scene...her taste changed dramatically.

They played a combination of their our own songs and cover songs... travelling further across canada.  The energy of the band was intense & the audience response was always good. They decided to take the band to a bigger city... moving from Saskatchewan to Winnipeg. In Winnipeg they picked up a guitar player that really helped to complete the sound. The band hung out together constantly and wrote non stop. Playing the clubs of Winnipeg the band was creating a stir, receiving reviews in the local papers & stations

"... Good chemistry fuelling their sucess...." -Stephen O Stick Free press- Winnipeg, MB

"...Dynamic Singer, Powerful Players!..." -James O'Conner Winnipeg Sun-Winnipeg, MB

"Wonderful to see such raw talent...." -Harry Callahan, 92 City F.M.

Influencing each other they grew together and ultimately apart. In search of a new drummer that took longer than expected, the band was put on hold & moved on to other things individually. The bass player started jamming with a new drummer, Cinnamon started writing her own tunes and began concentrating on her bass playing skills.

Singing has always been her passion, whenever possible she loves to share her voice & thoughts. With much to say she expresses herself in a way that many can view in their own way. Her poem entitled "Rock Bottom" was chosen to be in a hard copy coffee book. It was then also submitted to a cd of poetry and won the editor's choice award. Thought provoking and intoxicating- her lyrics and presence always command attention.
