Maker's debut short film premiered at Black Filmmaker Magazine's International Film Festival in London. The film received an honorable mention at the Urban Mediamakers Film Festival in Atlanta and aired for two weeks on "The Best Shorts," a popular show offering the best in Black independent short films on BETJ, a cable television subsidiary of Viacom, Inc.
